My dad was telling me on the phone that he’s in need of winter to be winter. I agree, though I’m also glad that the snow-ice layer that was impossible to remove from my porch has now melted.
It has been downright cold in Florida the past couple of months at times. Everyone thinks we enjoy warm weather all the time. That is not the case. When it is 40 degrees in the morning and feels like the 30s, that is brutally cold. Today it is 85 degrees with a heat index of 87. Tomorrow (Saturday) morning, it will be 57. I don't understand why it has to fluctuate like that. I'm sick and tired of the cold.

I'm amazed at how much snow has accumulated since mid January. And... enough is enough.
