Lovely piece, Bryn, as usual. I can’t help but think that it’s sad how many people don’t even have wisdom in hindsight. And yes, it’s horrifying - I was having this conversation around AI the other day- much more so than the potential science itself brings for destruction or hurt the ways that humans will bend science to their will
Thanks, Camille! I feel that way, too, about AI. Very fascinating applications - the one where it helps clinicians detect 20% more breast cancer cases? Wonderful stuff. The one where some hack uses it to capitalize on the backs of real creatives? Not so much, and that’s only a minor quibble in comparison to the potential for even more grave harms to us. What’s wrong with some things being analog?
This is one of your best, Bryn. Centering this around the concept of the molecule was a smart idea. Well done! ::high five::
Thanks, Mark! :: high five back at ya ::

Another fascinating post, Bryn - thank you so much - and stitching the words together with a thread of molecules was brilliant!
PS Awesome artwork!
Thanks so much, Rebecca! Alli’s oft-used metaphor is one of my favourites 🥰
