Thanks, Bryn! A perfect contemplative read for me this early rainy morning! I am curious to read this book. It sounds like he is an author who can feed the mind and soul.

Sagan understood human life patterns almost as well as he knew the stars.

Great observation, David. Perhaps that’s what made him so good - his ability to see the patterns, whether the data was human or celestial. (Although, come to think of it, he did say that we were all made of star stuff 🧐…)

I haven't read that book. I always had a lot of respect for Sagan, he talked a lot of sense

It’s WILD how prescient his words were, with everything continuing to unfold in the world. Someone who clearly understood and saw patterns in all types of data.
