What an awesome read, Bryn! We had a total eclipse in northern Europe in August 1999 - only the very far south-west corner of the UK experienced totality but my own experience of the not-quite-all-the-way eclipse on the rooftop of my London office building, a smidge too far north-east for totality, was one of most incredible experiences of my life. Very special. I totally relate to the line 'It kinda makes me want to cry', because I did.

Oh, and great title! 🙌
🩷🩷 Magical and very special, indeed. Thank you for sharing that, Rebecca!
Wonderful Bryn! Thanks for sharing your wonderful writing and thoughts--what a day this was!
Thanks! Did you get to see any of the proceedings, Ken? I imagine the flocks around the big yard must have been quite out of sorts.
I wrote about it in my last post--crazy birds at the feeder! Then a Lucifer Hummingbird (the light bearer) brought back the sun!
Thinking about it still makes me want to cry. It was incredible.
So many of my coworkers were shrugging and it blew my mind.
