Soyou didn't try deep fried Mars bars?Lovely pics and descriptions. I'm going to have to visit that bookshop some time.

I did, in Edinburgh, and while it was really good, that donut beat all. (Close second to the donut being the whisky toffee sponge at the end of the best meal of the trip, a haggis-rich affair that leaves me wondering what all the fear was about. Then again, anything in a whisky cream sauce is bound to be palatable 😂)
