A beautiful post, Bryn - fascinating observations of fire and what they can mean. And your art is wonderful!
I used to work with a torch flame, and I found it mesmerising and very healing. Interacting with its hiss and its power - treating it with due respect, of course, and in the right environment - is captivating.
"Don't rush and overwhelm what you have to give." This really speaks to me. Your painting is lovely and fun. Your musings are very festive and warm. Thanks Brynn.
Ah, another great one. "Don't rush and overwhelm what you have to give." So true in several senses.
Thanks Mark 🔥
Beautiful prose.
Thank you James!

What did you do with the torch flame, Rebecca? Sounds intriguing! Welding? Art?
Thanks so much for checking out the post and your kind words ☺️
LOL Bryn, now all I can think about is 'Flashdance' - no, I'm not a welder! I used to make glass beads - very small-scale glass art. On ice for now.
Very cool!!! Would love to see your work!
Ooh Bryn, this was lovely, and I learned something too!
Thanks, Tom, very kind of you ☺️
